EXIF Editing Methods

Exif Pilot software allows you to edit EXIF, IPTC data and create new EXIF and IPTC data. The following methods are available:

• edit EXIF, IPTC data in the program window;
• edit EXIF, IPTC data from command line;
• import data from XML, CSV, and MS Excel files.

Most users prefer to edit data within the program window. In the Edit Properties window, there are three tabs for working with EXIF and IPTC. For editing or creating data, just fill in the corresponding fields.

Some users like to work with data through the command line. Exif Pilot provides them with command line access for editing and creating EXIF, IPTC data.

The program also allows you to export the data into common CSV or XML files and into Microsoft Excel files. The file with exported data can be edited, and the edited data can be imported back to original image file.

Please note: batch editing of data and working with the command line are supported only with Batch Editing Plug-in.
